We created our shoes with materials that have a minimal impact in the environment to create a cruelty-free product. We have a strong commitment to preserve the planet and to sensitize our audience towards non-animal products and social inequality.
About our shoes
The shoes are constructed by hand-knotting long leaves of raffia on a wooden foot model. The artisans we work with live in a shantytown in the outskirts of the northern area of Morocco. By collaborating with the artisans we can support the education and the healthy growth of their neighborhoods.

What is Raffia?
Raffia, a natural fiber derived from palm trees, is native to Madagascar. The fiber is produced in the membrane on the underside of each frond of leaf. The membrane is taken off to create a long thin fiber, which can be dyed and woven as a textile into products ranging from hats to shoes to decorative mats.

Non-Leather Soles
Our soles are made of Biodegradable TPU, an advanced material that is environmentally friendly, durable, recyclable and biodegradable. TPU offers superior wear and abrasion resistance in accordance to our goals of high comfort and durability. The material appears rubber-like, which means it is extremely flexible, water resistant and smooth to the touch.
We use high quality furniture linen to line the insoles as it is perfect for breathability, sweat absorption, and freshness. Each sole is then hand-stitched to the insole adding quality, stability and style.
